Mumbai: The financial capital is all set to get back on track, but with all the safety measures. The guidelines for ‘break the chain’ will be implemented from Monday across Maharashtra. BMC took Twitter to share the guidelines for a ‘covid free’ Mumbai.
The restaurants will open till 4 pm on weekdays with 50% capacity. All the theatres, multiplexes, and shopping malls will remain close in Mumbai, until the next official order.
Home delivery from the restaurants will remain open any time of the seven days. Medical stores and chemist shops will remain open for 24 hours, as they were before. The shops with non-essential items will open on weekdays till 4 pm. The spas, salons, and parlors are permitted to operate with 50% capacity, that too with prior appointments.
Private offices are allowed to be open till 4 pm on weekdays. Both government and private offices are allowed to operate with 50% attendance. For marriage and funeral gatherings, there are no changes in rules, only 50 persons will be allowed at weddings and 20 at the funeral.
All the tourist destinations, public places, and open grounds will remain open from 5 am to 9 am. BEST transport will be allowed with 100% capacity, but the standing passengers will not be allowed. In local trains, only medical staff and the people working in essential services are permitted to travel. Common people will have to wait for future guidelines to travel from local trains. A maximum of three people is allowed in the cargo movement.
