Mumbai recorded with over 11000 new cases

Mumbai in Maharashtra recorded the highest increase in corona virus cases after 11,163 cases were reported in the last 24 hours.  Today, the total number of new cases of COVID-19 in the city is 4,52,445.  Today, there are 25 deaths at 11,776. 

Today there are at least 5,263 recoveries and the number of active covid cases is 68,052.  The recovery rate in Mumbai district is currently 82 per cent.    The new cases came after 43,597 Covid tests were conducted in the city. Maharashtra recorded the highest increase in ODIs with 57,074 new Covid cases reported in the last 24 hours.  222 deaths were recorded during the same period.  About 12,472 cases were reported in Pune district.

Amid an unprecedented surge in corona virus cases across the state, the Maharashtra government has announced new restrictions including night curfew in the state and "strict lockdown" on weekends from 8 pm on Friday to 7 am on Mondays. Laws in effect tomorrow include a curfew from 8pm to 7am; Prohibit five or more gatherings throughout the day; Malls, restaurants, bars and places of worship will be closed; Home delivery and essential services will be provided. Meanwhile, 50,000 new cases were reported in Maharashtra on Saturday - 60 per cent of the cases were reported across the country that day. 

As many as 48,000 cases were reported in the state on Friday.  Authorities in Mumbai have stepped up efforts to curb the spread of the virus, including random COVID-19 screenings of people in public places, such as malls and bus stations, where many are reported to be violating the law by not wearing masks and doing social work.  Distance.  According to the Center, eight of the top 10 most distressed districts in India are from Maharashtra.
