Mumbai Police appoints ACP level officer Khetle to probe against NCB officer Wankhede

Soon after the allegations started to rise against the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede, the Mumbai Police taking immediate action has appointed an ACP level officer named Milind Khetle to probe the allegation which has been levelled against him. This information was broken by police sources on Wednesday. 

 

The sources further stated that it became really important to hire a special ACP level officer over this case against the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) zonal officer Sameer Wankhede, as there were four Police Stations in total where complaints were received against him. So, it was then decided to give this matter to an ACP level officer Milind Khetle. 

 

Though this appointment has been made the Mumbai Police as of now has not registered any case against the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede. The cruise drugs case became more and more complex when Prabhakar Sail, the personal bodyguard of Kiran Gosavi who is the eye witness of the Mumbai cruise ship raid, have levelled allegations against the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) zonal officer Sameer Wankhede, his master Kiran Gosavi with some other Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officers have allegedly asked Bollywood Actor Shah Rukh Khan for Rs 25 lakh to release his son Aryan Khan from this drug bust case. 

 

But the police sources have further not disclosed that what type of complaints they have been receiving against the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede. This step from the Mumbai Police comes soon after Prabhakar sail met with them at Mumbai Crime Branch, soon after they meet, a meeting was arranged between Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray and Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil. Later on, it was being speculated that the Maharashtra Government was thinking of taking action against the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede.
