Mumbai mayor Kishori Pedenekar visits private hospitals following complaint of Asymptomatic get admitted

Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar visited private hospitals like Hinduja and Bombay Hospitals and collected bedding and other basic issues.  This creates a shortage of beds for patients with symptoms who need immediate medical attention. 

Pednecker said asymptomatic patients should be treated at Covid-19 care centers.  BMC is preparing to add more beds to Covid-19 patients.  A 150-bed civil body is being set up at the Nehru Science Center in Worli.  Poddar Hospital has 193 beds.
