Mumbai logs the lowest death count since April 13 at 34

Mumbai: 34 new deaths due to Covid-19 were reported on Wednesday. The lowest ODI death toll since April 13 is Wednesday. The City Civil Body reported 1,362 new infections when the cascade crossed 7 million. According to the latest figures from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the number of Covid-19 cases has risen to 7,01,266. 1,362 more cases in the last 24 hours.

A total of 6,56,446 coronavirus patients have so far recovered from the viral illness, with the recovery rate rising to 94 percent, the civic body said. 
 
The average growth rate of COVID-19 cases in Mumbai is less than 0. 20 percent. According to BMC, the overall growth rate of Covid-19 cases between May 19 and May 25 was 0.19 percent and the case doubling rate was 348 days. Currently, Mumbai has 44 container zones with slums and ditches, the Civil Body said.
