The Mumbai unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party has sought public suggestions for their manifesto for the upcoming civic body polls slated to take place on February 21st. For this purpose, they have opened twitter and facebook accounts as well.

Speaking about the manifesto, Mr. Ashish Shelar said, “The party’s emphasis would be on the transparent functioning of the BMC. A transparent manifesto is the need of the hour for a vibrant city like Mumbai. Citizens’ opinions and ideas would be taken into consideration while finalising the manifesto.” The BJP has said, “If we decide to join hands with the Shiv Sena, then we will ask our alliance partner to incorporate these suggestions into the joint manifesto.”

The BJP plans to release its manifesto on January 20th by the hands of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis himself.
