Maharashtra Health Minister applauds the Centre's decision on booster dosages for the aged and childhood vaccinations

Rajesh Tope, remarked, "We applaud the central government's move to require boosters for people over 60, frontline workers, and COVID-19 vaccines for children aged 15 to 18. Prime Minister Narendra Modi made three important measures in the fight against the disease earlier on Saturday, including the start of vaccination for children aged 15 to 18 from January 3. He also stated that beginning January 10 of next year, healthcare and frontline personnel will be given a "precaution dose." On the recommendation of their doctors, senior adults with co-morbidities will be able to receive a "precaution dose" of COVID-19.
