In response to a motion for attracting attention made by Amit Deshmukh and others, the Shinde Fadnavis administration in Maharashtra declared on Thursday that it would soon hire 30,000 teachers and non-teaching staff members. The motion dealt with the protests by teachers and students against the closing of schools with 20 or fewer students, particularly in rural areas.

Schools with 20 pupils or fewer will not be closed, according to Kesarkar, who also noted that the State Government has already taken action against schools with fewer than 20 students, which led many to fear that such schools will be shut down. However, the survey was designed to give students access to a supportive learning environment. Since delivering great education is the government's top priority, the interests of the students are taken into consideration first, he said.

"50% of the teachers will be hired soon." The next month will see the completion of this process. Give retired teachers a second shot as a means of resolving the issue of student education. The state government would bear accountability for this, so the burden won't rest on the Gram Panchayat, he said. Kesarkar's response is significant because teachers in government schools have opposed the government's plan to close schools with fewer than 20 students. They have argued that the Right to Education Act requires there to be junior schools within one km of villages and senior schools within three km of villages.
