Recipients will acquire the vaccine for free at Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) centres and will not be reimbursed more than the federal government's announced rates at private hospitals. Private hospitals do not have a different pricing structure. The BMC has urged eligible candidates to take advantage of the vaccine programme.

"We have adequate immunizations on hand. In the third wave, there are fewer hospitalizations due to quick immunisation. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has underlined from the start that only widespread vaccination can save lives. As a result, I urge seniors to take advantage of the booster dose "Chairman of the Health Committee, Rajul Patel, stated.
