Mumbai: If you use two different mobile numbers to secure a vaccine appointment, do not. BMC on Saturday tweeted that booking appointment from two different numbers for two doses has given beneficiaries two first-dose certificates. It urged citizens not to try this juggling, instead of meeting for both doses with the same dose. BMC tweeted: Dear Mumbaikars, a gentle reminder. Always use the same number to book both doses. Otherwise, you will end up in another complication once you win the other!

Do not use different numbers to book the first and second doses. However, this has upset those who are struggling to get an appointment as slots are not available due to the vaccine shortage in the city. Richard Rodriguez (@mydayneverends) tweeted to BMC that this should have been announced two months ago. Not now when the damage happens. It shows how efficient you are. For information on citizens, please publish it in local newspapers.
