Independence Day 2021: Mumbai Congress takes out Tiranga Gaurav Yatra
On the occasion of 75th Independence Day, the Congress party of Maharashtra organised a Tiranga Gaurav Yatra in Mumba. The Tricolour Yatra was attended by many strong leaders linked to the Congress in Maharashtra conveying their enthusiasm for the special occasion of Independence Day with Tricolour and the Congress flag. The leaders which were present include Mumbai Congress Chief Bhai Jagtap, Sanjay Nirupam and Charan Singh Sapra.
 
At the time of Tricolour Yatra Maharashtra Congress Chief Nana Patole attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi stating that “the government was against democracy.” Through this program by the Congress in Maharashtra, an attempt to demonstrate its power was made as to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections approach. Congress party was seen at its full power attended by thousands of party workers on the streets of Mumbai after many days.
 
The Tricolour yatra was organized in the Lokhandwala area of Mumbai. Congress workers were seen waving the tricolour flag with the band. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was accused of spying on the ongoing Pegasus spyware issue by pasting a mobile pamphlet on cardboard in front of a car. Workers of Congress stated that the central government was against democracy and our privacy is being violated. 
 
In the monsoon session of Parliament, the opposition created huge chaos on the issue of alleged Pegasus spying. The chaos over the issue increased so much that both the houses of Parliament were disrupted. This was not the first time when the houses were disrupted, there were many such occasions when both the Houses of Parliament had to be disrupted due to the chaos by the opposition. Attacking the government of espionage stating that the government is running away from conducting any debates and probes into this matter. However, the government too took a dig at the opposition for creating chaos.
