Maharashtra Congress asks CBI for its silence on the death case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput
The Congress Government in Maharashtra questioned the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) as to why is it silent over the death case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, as it has been a year now that it took the charge of the investigation into the case.  The  Congress party claimed that the Centre was using the National Investigation Agencies for its own 'Political Agenda'.
 
The actor Sushant Singh Rajput a 34-year-old in his apartment was hanging from the ceiling in Mumbai's Bandra area on June 14, 2020, after which the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) took charge of the investigation. “The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) took the case from the Bihar Police and it has been a year that it took the case,” stated Sachin Sawant Maharashtra Congress spokesperson.
 
Sachin Sawant whose party shares power with the Shiv Sen and NCP in Maharashtra alleged that the Maha Vikas Aghadi government was being attacked. Further, Sachin Sawant alleged the BJP stating that “The government of Maharashtra was being defamed by the BJP leaders and some News channels were asked to frame the case with murder theories”
