CM Shinde announces Diwali bonuses for teachers, BEST personnel, and healthcare professionals

Eknath Shinde, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, declared on Thursday that teachers, BEST personnel, and Mumbai Municipal Corporation employees will all receive bonuses for Diwali. "Rs. 22,500 will be given to employees of Mumbai Municipal Corporation, employees of Municipal Corporation Teachers BEST, and one month's salary to health workers as a Diwali bonus," the Chief Minister declared.
 
Teachers and healthcare professionals would also receive a bonus for Diwali as a result of this move, along with 93 thousand employees of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation and 29 thousand employees of BEST. He argued that despite the challenging circumstances of COVID, Mumbai Municipal Corporation staff members had performed admirably. While wishing everyone a "Happy Diwali," CM Shinde urged everyone to give their all in service to Mumbaikars.

"The Mumbai Municipal Corporation's personnel and development work-related issues will be addressed in order of priority. Now, everyone should give their all to the people of Mumbai. The Chief Minister noted that engineers must ensure that the construction of roads and other infrastructure meets the standards set by the general public, he continued.
