Maharashtra: Cinema Halls and Amusement Parks to open from October 22, Restaurant’s timing extended too
As the Covid 19 cases have started to decline, the government of Maharashtra has decided to hold out the timing of restaurants and shops to be open and with this has also announced to resume amusement parks all over the state of Maharashtra. The reason for such elongated restrictions was keeping a check on the spread of the Covid 19 in the state.

The present timing of restaurants to open in the city was from 7 AM till 10 PM with only 50 percent seating capacity. Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had a meeting with the Covid 19 task force after which the decision of extension of timing came in. The announcement came from the office of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray stating that the state government has decided to resume the operations of amusements parks all over the state from October 22. But all the water rides will not be in a position to start, they will be suspended for now.

With the discussion of resuming services and extension of timing, the Chief Minister and Covid 19 task force also discussed Covid 19 vaccination for children, to which the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray stated that the State Health Department without leaving any stone unturned will be intact with all the moves of the Centre so that stock of vaccination for children is ready in the required point of time.

For the extension timing of restaurants across the state, a delegation of the Hotel and Restaurant Association requested the  Government of Maharashtra to extend the timing of the restaurants and bars to the earlier deadline of 1:30 am, stating that they till now have faced a lot of economic loss. They also assured the government of vaccinating the staff fully in such cases. With this, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray also said yes for movie halls and theatres all over the State of Maharashtra from October 22, only if all necessary Covid 19 precautions are taken care of.
