Chief Minister gives directives to the administration

As the country was still adopting to normalize but yet again a new variant of the Covid 19 named omicron is out, which has given rise to global tensions. Soon after the variants news broke Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray immediately asked the administration to keep a check to avoid the spread of it in the State of Maharashtra. He further gave directives stating that the administration should not stay quiet until the center's order, instead it should start taking initial steps.  
 
The Chief Minister added that it would not at all be able feasible to impose lockdown once again in the state, which will lead to financial losses so asked the citizens to wear masks anyhow and maintain social distancing, with proper two doses of Covid 19 vaccines. 
 
The Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had a meeting with the district collectors where he directed them to continuously and pace up the tests being conducted for the incoming international and domestic passengers.  ‘’The number of people coming from different countries has started in the city of Mumbai. If also one is the career of the new variant, then all may be in danger,” stated Chief Minister. Further, stated that it is very important to continuously check and monitor the passengers. 
 
The Chief Minister warned the citizens that this attitude of nothing will happen will not last long, if it continues that it will land up the countrymen to the crisis. As the number of testing’s shows a major downfall the Chief Minister expressed his concern on this matter stating that the administration will have to ramp up as soon as possible.
