Boating club launched by CM Uddhav Thackeray to boost tourism
Many leads were launched by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray to push forward tourism in the state of the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC). The project that has been launched includes a new boating club, facilities for skydiving and adventure sports, also there has been a tie-up with top travel companies online to grow MTDC properties on the portals, among others.
 
Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray stated that this step has been taken noticing the wide variety of destination stops and international tourists in the state of Maharashtra which is going to help in the growth of the economy and will also provide employment. 
 
The tourism department on Tuesday signed MoUs with M/s SkyHigh India in presence of several ministers to start skydiving and adventure sports activities in the Sindhudurg district. A new website has been launched by the MTDC which will go live from Wednesday.
 
“There are many places in the state worth going in the world map to name a few Amsterdam’s Tulip Garden, development of tourism can also be done around flowers on Kaas Pathar in Satara district,” stated Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. “As we are making MTDC’s user experience better, the tourists worldwide are going to get a big surprise now Ganpatipule Boat Club is set to welcome tourists” stated Environment Minister Aaditya Thackeray. The head of the finance department of the Maharashtra State, Pawar, stated that this travel sector has full potential to gear up the state’s economy and would create jobs for the jobless.
