BMC sanitised Alia Bhatt's home, a Civic Official claims the actress did not break any quarantine regulations

It was later on confirmed by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Thursday that Bollywood starlet Alia Bhatt had not broken any quarantine rules while visiting Delhi. She received a negative COVID-19 test result and was not under quarantine when she arrived in Delhi. Alia recently visited Delhi for the presentation of the motion poster for her forthcoming film 'Brahmastra.' BMC officials recently visited Alia's residence, the Vastu building on Pali Hill. The civic body sanitised the structure.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) crew sanitised actor Sanjay Kapoor's home on Thursday after both his wife, Maheep, and daughter, Shanaya Kapoor, tested positive for COVID-19. After attending a meal at producer-director Karan Johar's home earlier this week, stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Arora tested positive for COVID-19. On social media statements were being released of a possible violation of quarantine by actress Alia Bhatt stating that she came to Delhi for a film shoot.

"If she flew with a bad COVID-19 report, no action is necessary," the official stated, denying media allegations that she had broken COVID-19 standards. Soon after Thursday the new broke in, tests were conducted but, no other high-risk individuals or close associates of Bollywood celebrities have tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials.
