Mumbai: Students have been queuing at Cooper Hospital in Mumbai since 11.30 last night, some from 3-4 in the morning. The vaccination drive began at 10 a.m. and vaccinated about 200 children until noon. On the second day of the vaccination drive, 446 students were vaccinated and on the third day more than 300 people are expected to be vaccinated, Cooper Hospital said. It will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the hospital said they will vaccinate more students if they have the time permit and doses. BMC informed that students are required to carry their I-20 / DS-160 or certified confirmation letter. & Visa.

However, due to the frustration of students, some who want to study in the UK are reluctant because colleges are still offering editions and visas. We waited 5 hours. My daughter only has the offer letter, which is confirmation. Just because I don't have what they want, doesn't mean we should be punished. Here they only accept visa documents related to the US ... they have to be flexible about the rules, a parent told a national television channel. However, the interval for the second dose is not yet clear, as the 84-day interval means that students will not receive the second dose before leaving in July or August.

Maharashtra MP Priyanka Chaturvedi wrote a letter to the health secretary requesting that the compulsory gap for these students be reduced. Students also expressed concern about the second dose. It is daisy as the gap increases. We are concerned that we need the same vaccine for the second dose and that Covishield is available in Canada. With 84 days to go until the end of August and September, our concern is that, at that time, the vaccine should be available to take the second dose,” said Shabbir, a student who is ready to go to Canada to study.
