BMC published the list of vaccination centers

Mumbai: According to a list published by the Brihanmumbai Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), 72 private hospitals, 35 BMC hospitals and 17 government hospitals have vaccinated people against Covid-19 till April 15, 2021.  The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Friday published a list of vaccination centers in Mumbai to help people get shots against the corona virus disease (Covid-19). 

Due to the lack of doses, the Civil Body was forced to close all private vaccination centers within its jurisdiction.  In the list, as of April 15, 2021, there are 124 active vaccination centers.  The list includes private and government vaccination centers and those owned by BMC itself under the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM).  Some of the most popular hospitals in the metropolis are vaccinating people against viral disease, the list shows. 

Breach Candy Hospital is a privately owned facility that includes Jaslok Hospital, Wockhardt Hospital, Hinduja Hospital, Lilavati Hospital and Kokilaben Hospital.  The list shows that 72 private hospitals are functioning as vaccination centers.  The full list is available on BMC's official website.  You can click here to access the list or check it out below.  According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 117,223,509 vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far.  

The nationwide vaccination drive began on January 16 and is now in its third phase.  The number of infections is over 3.6 million and the death toll is over 59,000.   Mumbai is one of the worst hit cities.  The cassette and death toll are 553,000 and 12,000, respectively.
