BMC files FIR against actor Gauhar Khan for violating Covid-19 protocol

The K-West ward of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Monday filed an FIR against model and actor Gauhar Khan for violating the Covid-19 protocol.  Vishwas Mote, assistant municipal commissioner in K-West ward, said, "On March 11, our staff visited Khan's house and assured  that they would not set foot outside the house."  "However, despite all of this, we had received a complaint against khan that, her life and the lives of others were in danger any way it's not an acceptable thing from a celebrity.

 

He added, “Our staff reached to her house on Sunday night and told her that she was not at home at first and that she was in a flat on a nearby wing. We decided to file a police complaint accordingly. “Khan has now been asked to move to an institutional quarantine.Mumbai Police spokesperson and Deputy Commissioner of Police S Chaitanya declined to divulge the name of the person mentioned in the FIR. 

 

He said the Oshiwara police had registered a case under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.  Public servant), 269 (negligent activity which could lead to the spread of life-threatening disease), 270 (lethal activity may spread the disease of life-threatening disease), 51B of the NDMA Act, 3 of the Infectious Diseases Act, Complaint against a person who has been tested positive for film B against a filmmaker without continuing the ban.  .  

BMC has filed an FIR against the Bollywood actor for not following the COVID19 guidelines for testing positive.  The rules apply equally to all, and we urge citizens to follow all guidelines and help the city overcome the virus.
