Instead of the previous yearly membership, the BMC now offers daily, monthly, and quarterly subscriptions for all of its swimming facilities. Beginning on January 3, 2023, new memberships will be accepted. In addition, the civic organisation will refund membership cancellation fees and waiting list registration fees. Membership to publicly owned swimming pools used to be available once or twice a year after standing in line and physically filling out paperwork. Early in the morning, the citizens would have to wait in lines, and only the first applicant would be admitted. After that, they would have to line up once more to submit paperwork.

For its four operational swimming pools, the BMC began accepting reservations online on August 23 to simplify the procedure. However, a large number of individuals were unable to join due to a large number of applications and a small number of seats. As a result, the BMC now provides extra subscriptions through monthly and quarterly plans.

The civic organisation now permits members to swim with one guest by paying a guest admission fee for that day. Similarly to this, prospective members may choose to be placed on the waiting list by paying a small charge of Rs 500 in the event that the pool is already at capacity. At the time of joining, the amount deducted from them will be modified. The former session length restriction of 45 minutes has also been increased to 60 minutes. According to Deputy Municipal Commissioner Kishore Gandhi, if a member uses the pool for more than 60 minutes, his membership period will be altered accordingly.
