Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Sunday said that Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation election (BMC) we will have to work hard to finish second in the 2022 elections. "The Shiv Sena is the main party in the BMC.

They should remain there as they are our partners, yet the NCP should attempt to come next in the impending BMC races," Pawar said while tending to the NCP show. He clarified that the partners of the decision Maharashtra Maha Vikas Agadi (MVA) were joined together, adding that "NCP laborers ought not have any misinterpretations or misconception about our accomplices since we need to challenge the races together in the coming days."The BMC election is expected to take place in 2022.

The Shiv Sena, which currently has 92 corporators, is the ruling party in the BMC.  The Congress has 30 corporators and nine from the NCP with a total of 227 seats. The NCP leader said that since party chief Sharad Pawar and the ruling party had already given their vote to the people, no one in Maharashtra should worry about the CAA NRC and the NPR. The people of Maharashtra need not fear the decision of the CAA, NRP and NPR as the state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has assured it.

"Some people are trying to create a debate on this, but if anyone tries to create misunderstanding, NCP activists should tell them that Sharad Pawar and the MVA ministers have promised us that this decision will not affect the citizenship of anyone in Maharashtra," he said.
