With the crucial cash rich civic body elections just around the corner, the Sena is blazing all guns to woo different segment of voters. This time around, it is the youth voters which the Sena is trying to woo, courtesy their Yuva Sena chief ‘Aaditya Thackeray’.

The Shiv Sena has convinced the civic administration to provide infrastructure to young entrepreneurs at nominal rates.

The BMC administration has identified a building at Chakala in Andheri to be converted into office premises for 50 to 100 struggling young entrepreneurs. The building, reserved for the welfare centre, has parking space on the stilt, while the first floor has several rooms and a hall. Officials said the hall would be converted into a conference room and allotted on prior booking.

An official said BMC decided to provide table space (small office) to young entrepreneurs at a nominal cost for six months. Afterwards they will have to vacate to make way for another applicant. The BMC will try to complete the process before the elections. Later, BMC may plan similar startup incubators at other locations also.
