674 suggestions and objections received by BMC on the draft ward formation list

The draft ward formation list with redrawn boundaries and reservations were out on October 3, 2016. Any citizen who would like to submit their suggestions or objections, were required to submit the same on or before October 20, 2016. A total of 674 suggestions and objections have been received by the BMC.
The most surprising part is that over 300 of those suggestions/objections have come for L Ward itself, which comprises of parts of Kurla and Saki Naka. Certain objections were received with regards to the reservation on wards as well, but the BMC said that nothing can be done on that part.
The election commission will take a final decision on the wards by November 18, 2016 and would publish the final ward boundaries along with their maps on November 22, 2016.
