130 converge for talk by BMC on nutrition, sanitation and hygiene

BMC Election Updates
A talk was conducted by doctors as part of the cleanliness week being observed by the BMC. The talk about about issues of hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness was attended by 100 students and 30 parents.
 
The talk was held at the Nityanand municipal school at Vile Parle. The panel comprised Dr Richa Singh, a member of an NGO, Citizen Association for Child Rights, Dr Natasha Wagle, superintendent Manasi Apte and Shiv Sena corporator Manisha Panchal.
 
While Singh spoke about the importance of washing hands, hygienic food and nutrition, Wagle spoke on oral and dental health. Apte explained the BMC initiative on cleanliness (Swachchta) and Panchal spoke about preventing the spread of dengue.
