The British-era pipeline that ruptured at Worli Naka crossroads on Thursday morning has been restored by the BMC. However, a civic official estimated that it will take three days to finish fixing the road that collapsed at Ganpatrao Bhosle Marg. Worli Naka's main water line had ruptured, forcing the road to collapse near Pralhad Keshav Atre Chowk.

The BMC promptly closed the area because the pipeline dates from the Colonial era. On Thursday evening, after inspecting the area and finding the leak, civic officials from the hydraulic engineering department started work on the pipeline. By Friday morning, it had been fixed, and the area had its water supply again.

A water department official stated, "We have been keeping an eye on the water supply and have also given the G-South ward Road Department the go-ahead to complete the road restoration work. The road repair work will be finished over the next three days, according to authorities with the road department.
