According to an official, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has charged Uddhav Sena leader and ex-corporator Yogesh Bhoir with excessive assets. According to agency sources, the ACB also searched Bhoir's Kandivali apartment. After an ongoing investigation, the first information report (FIR) was filed against Bhoir on Saturday. According to the ACB, he accumulated assets worth Rs85.56 lakh while serving as a BMC corporator, which was 449% more than his known sources of income between February 2012 and March 2017.
"Everything is going on is vendetta politics," Bhoir remarked on Tuesday. The check period is between 2012 and 2017, so why is the ACB now waking up? This is the third criminal case brought against me in the previous four months, including an extortion case. If a person does not go to a specific party, he is exposed to harassment. "I have a spotless record." "Is my income solely restricted to the stipend I receive from the corporation?" he continued.
Can't I have a second source of income? My family members are financially secure, and we own a gym. Before filing a case, the ACB should have recorded my statement. I'll ask them what evidence they have against me. When the ACB calls, I will confer with my CA and provide information about my properties and income. "I will work with them," he continued. According to Bhoir, a team of ACB officers visited his home on Monday to conduct searches but found nothing.
