The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief tried to grab attention on Tuesday by stating that his party is ready for an alliance, if approached by any of the saffron parties.
Talking to reporters at his residence in Dadar, Mr. Thackeray said his party will consider if any party comes up with a proposal. Neither the Sena nor the BJP commented on the MNS chief’s statement.
Earlier, Mr. Thackeray had been maintaining his position to fight all elections on his own, ruling out chances of joining hands either with Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray or any other party.
